In August, 2019, Delta Lambda welcomed its “new” 1960 International Firetruck. The truck is a gift from four alumni, including three legacy Dad’s that felt their sons should enjoy one of their favorite parts of their own brotherhood.
The Firetruck is not only a fun and exciting part of Delta Lambda tradition used to rally our brothers and remind the sororities of special events, our chapter incorporates it into our pledge program and philanthropy efforts.
With the leadership of Delta Lambda alumni, our pledges learn firetruck basics and history with our fully functioning truck. Our brotherhood is also honored to use the truck in philanthropic events to support the families of fallen firefighters, raising funds, awareness and support.
