Jeff Sandy and Dean Kushmer were fall, 1972 pledges. Their fathers, Neal Sandy and Fred Kushmer had been Pike pledge brothers together at the University of Florida in 1946. Neal Sandy came to FSU after WWII and was one of the Founders of Delta Lambda Chapter.
