Eric Carr

Eric Carr grew up in Richmond, Virginia, admiring the Seminoles from afar before becoming the only member of his immediate family to attend FSU.  He joined Delta Lambda as a colony member in spring of 2000 during Pi Kappa Alpha Memorial Headquarters’ expansion project to restart the Chapter.  Eric and roughly 130 of his fellow Re-Founding brothers were initiated in February of 2001.  Prior to serving as president (SMC) during his senior year, Eric served as internal vice president, Interfraternity Council representative, new member educator, and historian.  His career with Seminole Boosters, Inc. began in 2005 at 24 years old with an unpaid internship on the 30th Anniversary Bobby Bowden Tour, working directly with Seminole Boosters, Inc. senior VP and executive director Charlie Barnes as well as Coach Bowden himself.  Moving on to the private sector after graduation from FSU, and in the prime of a regional and national award-winning tenure with billion-dollar revenue animal health industry juggernaut IDEXX Laboratories, Eric could not resist Andy Miller’s invitation to return to Seminole Boosters, Inc. in 2009 — this time as a major gift development officer in Tampa, Florida. Eric now lives in Orlando with his wife of six years, Anne (FSU class of ’08), their young son Roman, and their South African Boerboel “Phoenix.”  The Carrs are active in Summit Church and enjoy anything having to do with faith, family, and football and FSU.  Eric currently serves as President of Delta Lambda Alumni Association.
